Do Not Worry

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today."

MATTHEW 6:34

The continual thought of self keeps the Lord from being the first focus to fulfill what you need. The denial of self allows the Holy Spirit to live the life of Jesus in you. Jesus denied his own life for his father - for love. He asks you to deny yourself for him - so he may live in you through the Holy Spirit - so he can help you - speak to you - and love you. If you are living in your way - you cannot be in The Way. Jesus is the Truth of The Way to Eternal Life. 

Jesus wants to help you in your current circumstance and fill you with hope for a better tomorrow. Jesus is the conqueror - we are the vessel of his Holy Spirit to provide transportation for his will.

“Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. But when it is unhealthy, your body is filled with darkness.” Luke 11:34 

“I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.” Ephesians 1:18 

“Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.” Philippians 2:3-4 

“Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise....Then the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:8-9
