Bible Timeline

The Bible provides many dates, ages and references of historical events. All of which create a timeline that is constructed backwards through specifically dated and verifiable events.

Terah 205 2296 2091 130 Genesis 11:26 - Age of account is different than all the rest. Moses says after he was 70 years old he had Abram, Nahor and Haran. Every other dated birth says specifically how old the person was. The long dialogue of Terah's family gives specific dates for milestones, which provides us Terahs age when Abram was born.
Abraham 175 2166 1991 100 Ishmael Born when Abram was 86. (Genesis 16:16) Isaac born when Abraham was 100 (Genesis 21:5). Ishmael approximately 17 or so when sent away (Genesis 21:8). Abram left Haran after Terah died. And lived for 100 more years. Abraham was 75 when he left Haran after Terah died. Battle of Megiddo 609 Egypt was joining with the Assyrian (Syria) forces to go and fight the forces of the Babylonians (Iraq), led by Nebuchadnezzar and the Medes (Iran / Persia). To get there, the Egyptian Army had to pass through Israel Territory and King Josiah would not allow this, so he attacked him in the Megiddo valley. Josiah was killed and Israel Defeated. Egypt and Syria were defeated shortly thereafter by Iran and Iraq forces.
Solomon Dies / Kingdom of Israel and Judah Split 60 930 Solomon ruled in Jerusalem over all Israel for forty years.  1 Kings 11
King Herod's Death 1 BC Herod died near 1/16/1 BC. There was a lunar eclipse shortly before Herod died after the partial eclipse on 1/10 01 BC. Josephus writes (Antiquities 17.8.1, War 1.33.8)

Jesus Birth: These items must be true

Matthew says - 1. Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. Herod reigned until 1 bc.

2. Wise men (astrologers) came to Jerusalem and asked King Herod if the King was born because they were following a star that led them there. (Astrological Event) Rising of Jupiter to move towards Venus creating a slowly moving star in the sky, meeting at its brightest point, over Jerusalem on 9/11/3 bc

3. King Herod ordered his soldiers to kill every born son in and around Bethlehem who were 2 years old or under, based on the wise mens' report of the stars first appearance. Two years had passed from the time the star event occurred on 9/11/3 bc and the time of Herod's order to Kill the babies and before his death.

Queen Hatshepsut was the Royal daughter to Thutmose I and a powerful woman. Thutmose II is father to Thutmose III with a lesser wife (Iset). Thutmose III erased her name from monuments.
