Enduring Patiently
Share
“If we endure hardship, we will reign with him.”
2 TIMOTHY 2:12
God prepares us for the big moments in which we will not waiver. In the life of Jesus, he was perfect. Flawless without areas needing to be made perfect. He is perfect. In him, through the Holy Spirit, we can be like him. Patient endurance is in the understanding of the mundane that God is perfectly in control of you. With God, you are always where you are supposed to be.
We have to work out our faith in the regular day to day activities and happenings in life. The Lord often begins with small asks of us to build our obedience and faith. As our obedience and faith build in private - the asks get greater so that we are made ready for the larger moments in which our faith has been built. David knew that he would defeat Goliath because privately he killed both a lion and a bear. This is how his faith in battle was built.
When you pray for courage - the Lord will place you in situations to allow you to build this courage. He will never ask you to conquer anything on a large scale without first building your faith. Be faithfully patient in knowing God is in all things and his ways are Holy. To receive the power and kingdom, the truth must be made whole in you. Abandon yourself fully to Christ Jesus - be made whole in him.
Patience in faith is endured only through the truth of Jesus Christ. He is real - his way - is the only way to the kingdom. There is nothing to receive but the divine intercession of the most high God in every aspect of your life. Wait not for items or monetary benefit, but rather to be made perfect on the inside, such that only the new life of Jesus may be seen in you. This is the re-birth.
We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.) Romans 8:24-25
“For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” James 1:3-4
“Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.” 2 Peter 1:5-7
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
