Growing Faith

Growing Faith

"Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow."

JAMES 1:2-3

God pours the full measure of faith you need in every situation when you seek him in each situation. You are never lacking, never on accident, never in the wrong place - even when the situation is not good. With God, you are his perfect vessel of transport. God is a Spirit - he is love. In going to the cross, Jesus completed life as a man in faith of his birthright as the Son of God - Savior of man - King of the world.

Jesus is the full measure of faith - truth - love - grace. He is God himself - manifested into the perfect flesh. The Father Is The Son Through The Holy Spirit - They are one and the same. There is no anguish in this understanding - just truth of being a servant - an obedient son or daughter. In him is life - walk in his way.

The grand purpose of the life of Jesus was not only to forgive sin, but to allow his great power and love to be in you through the power of the Holy Spirit. He has done his part. The part of his followers is to rise to the life of Christ incarnate in you. If you remain in a state of miserable anguish, you have not been diligent in working out Christ in you. Be ever diligent and in constant pursuit in working your mind, voice and energy into the life Jesus has prepared for you to live.

“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.” James 1:5-6

“There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-7

“So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
