He Lives Within

"Those who obey God’s commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us."

1 JOHN 3:24

We can get caught up in a routine of spending time with God when we can fit him in.  Living for God is not designed as a pre-planned routine that takes place on a schedule - but rather a state of being. Jesus lived with the Spirit of his heavenly father in every moment of his life, as he was sent to fulfill the will of his father. Those who call Jesus Lord also have the power of the Holy Spirit which provides the same direct line to our heavenly father. God is with you everywhere - therefore his will can be done without having to schedule it - but all the time.

When you have seen the Lord Jesus Christ - it makes obedience and faith more simple. The truth is the resurrected Lord. Therefore, there is no death - only eternity in the Lord. To see him - you must get to know him - to know him - you must begin to walk with him - to walk with him you must learn his way - you must seek his will - to seek his will - you must read his word and communicate with him in your spirit. 

“But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24 

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 

“Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.” 1 Chronicles 16:11
