He Oversees

He Oversees

"It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man."

PSALM 118:8

The truth of life here on earth is that until Jesus comes back - the world is increasingly getting worse - dying - decaying - passing away. With it - most people - deceitful and impure. Jesus is life - he desires for his life to be seen in you. It is good to know that he is in everything you do if you allow him to be.

No matter how uncomfortable, how scary, how new something may feel, he is in you. Give him the power and each moment will reveal his grace in you. Let him pour through. He is love. He is kindness. He feeds the hungry, clothes the unclothed, teaches, prays and heals hearts - Jesus lives. Let him live in you and through you. Submit all things to Jesus and be set free.

It is one thing to be saved from hell, it is quite another to allow the Lord to manifest his life in your flesh through the Holy Spirit. The choice of obeying the calling of the Lord is the choice that gives life in the way that Jesus has prepared for you to walk and live. This life is difficult and people will always let you down - but Jesus will never let you down - so have faith in him and him alone to direct your steps.

“And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.” 1 John 2:17

“So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7

“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuteronomy 31:8

"I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity. My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver. I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full." Proverbs 8:17-21
