Instruction For Life

"Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life."

PROVERBS 19:20

It is faith that will begin your relationship with Christ. Faith will grow into understanding. Understanding will lead to wisdom. Wisdom provides peace of mind. Trust in Jesus - he is the truth.

The Lord declares that when you are abandoned to him, no matter where he places you, even the worst situation, you will come out alive. To be reconciled to the Lord is to rest your mind in the truth that he will supply what you need in all things for the duration of your faith.

In the Lord Jesus Christ, all is found. Jesus is the truth of life - to be committed to him you must live in "the way." This is the way of Jesus. Doing as Jesus said and did. This is how you get to know him. If you never walk with him, he does not know you. 

To know Jesus is to hold his hand. To welcome him in every moment. To be free in Jesus only occurs when you walk with him all the time. Jesus is alive. He lives in the spirit of you - he lives in the present moment - waiting for you to seek him. 

“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 

“Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.” John 14:21 

“Jesus replied, You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39 

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
