Jesus Lives

Jesus Lives

"When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”

LUKE 24:30-32

Before Jesus revealed himself to me and at once changed my heart and eyes - I too knew his name - but did not know his way. I knew some scriptures and the Psalms were on my heart - but I had not read the word in its entirety - and therefore was in the dark. I loved the Lord - but did not truly know him. He found me - He saved me - He redeemed me. The love he showed me was overwhelming. What he allowed me to see, and feel was from heaven.

Upon the revelation of Jesus - I was immediately baptized and he descended upon me a full portion of his Holy Spirit. He directed me to read his word and told me to follow him. He said, "Come with me, I am the Way." I did not know what was to come - but the wilderness soon followed. Through ridicule - abuse - and hardship - the Lord Jesus has been with me - teaching me and has given me a foundation that cannot be broken.

I live only because of Jesus and have no identity outside of him. I live for the promise and vision that he gave me and the truth and love he has provided me. I cling to him and rely on him in all things. The things I write about and speak about are the things that I have witnessed, seen and experienced with Jesus. I write nothing that he has not asked of me or taught me. Jesus is alive and he loves you. He desires a personal relationship with you and will guide you all the days of your life.

“Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God.” 2 Peter 1:20-21

“For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8
