Keep Alert

Keep Alert

"Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour."

1 PETER 5:8

Be careful not to conquer the big thing of faith and obedience and then become weak in the less meaningful battles. Keep the deepest impact of your faith and obedience to the Lord close to your present mind. Faith and obedience to God take continual effort and understanding.  Fallback on the greatest personal revelation of faith in your life to help in the battle of the mundane which leads to spiritual weakness which leads to straying from the Lord. Guard your strength in Jesus and maintain your mind along the greatest realization of God.

Follow not people or theories but live on every word out of the mouth of the Lord. Feed your spirit in his ever present and endless love. Be aware of Jesus - his truth - and yours - for in you is him if so allowed.

Once you have been shaped and molded in the face of the spirit, remain absolutely loyal and truthful to the most high. Do not rest on triumphs of the past. The Lord Jesus lives completely in us in the present time - not the past - not the future. It is in the present time of life where the trials can be solved with peace and love.

“Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior.” 2 Timothy 2:15-16

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10

“Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.” How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.” James 4:13-14

Anyone who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God. But anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son.” 2 John 1:9

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans 12:2
