Never Alone

Never Alone

“We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.”

2 CORINTHIANS 4:8-10

Reconcile yourself completely to Jesus. Avoid doing things for appearance - but rather, to manifest the truth and love buried in your heart. Let the uncompromising perfect love of Jesus wash you and clean you so that it will come out of you.

When you are reconciled to the Lord, you stop doings things only for personal gain - but to do the will of Jesus in the face of adversity - in spite of losing friends, family, possessions and even your own understanding. It is easy to follow Jesus in the simple thought of maintaining your natural life in hopes of receiving his promises. Being reconciled is to be willing to lose everything you have ever known and understood for the one that lives forever - to have faith that in such devotion - his life will be lived in you - and he can do his will through you.

The gain is for Christ - not for self.

He knows more than you do and he knows what comes next - all the way down the line - so in losing your understanding - you give away your own way to manifest your destiny to the one that goes ahead of you to prepare The Way.

It is often the difficult and shocking type of experiences that cause a person to change. Pain and grief force your mind to have no other thought but hope in God to sustain you. With the Lord - the overwhelming and impossible become sustainable and attainable.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

"Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6

"I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears." Psalm 34:4

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:33
