Practicing Christ

"Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you."

PHILIPPIANS 4:9

The beauty of the teachings of the Lord is that he makes us new in him. In his teachings, he typically removes you from what would be your normal routine. In this time, the Lord teaches you his loving ways.

This is often done in private - so that when he places us back into the world, he has cleansed us into his ways so that we - as brothers and sisters of Christ will also be used as light posts for all who seek Jesus. The Lord uses us - our bodies as his creation to bring joy and salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. 

“Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

“Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress.” 1 Timothy 4:15

“And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Acts 20:35
