Pray Continually

"Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere" 

EPHESIANS 6:18

Jesus taught us how to live in the spirit with God while remaining in the world. He did not come so his words could be shown as examples of how to fit into the world. No - he came to set us free from the world - the world is sin - Jesus is clean - pure. Think not in terms of applying the Lord's words in the non-littoral. He is the truth. 

He says - "sell your things and follow me" - not be afraid and borrow money. He says, "love your neighbor" - "do not covet." Yet this world scorns their neighbor and covets everything. Choose Jesus in every situation. Pray to him - love him always - listen to his love. 

Pray without ceasing. In prayer with the Lord, you are always with the Lord. When you are with the Lord - you are always where you are supposed to be - even when it doesn't feel like it. Rejoice in the knowledge of the spirit of God. Rejoice in the triumph of Jesus Christ. 

“For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.” Galatians 5:13 

“Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32 

“I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” John 8:34-36 

“For Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13
