Proper Pursuit

“The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.”

JOHN 1:4

Though all the scriptures point to Jesus being the Christ in exactly the manner in which he was born and lived - his ongoing and continual life given from his rising and allowing us access to himself through his Holy Spirit can never be denied - because God is a spirit - and he is life - and he is alive. 

Discovering the will of Christ in each moment, is a personal truth that can only be found when seeking the Lord with all your heart. There is not labor in searching for Christ - but for allowing the work of Christ to be done through you - the hard work is in overcoming the lie of the world and having faith in the truth of freedom in Jesus to do what he asks. 

Be diligent in allowing your mind to be renewed in the truth of Jesus. He is the risen Lord - not simply a man that came and did amazing things a long time ago. Though he did many miraculous signs and healed all that had faith enough to be healed - he is more. To rise from the dead and be the first of many is what makes him Lord. Death did not keep him - nor shall it take any who belong to him. 

In Christ, you gain an eternity of peace and joy in heaven but you also get direct personal access to speak to God through his living spirit that dwells inside of those that always seek him. Pursue the Holy Spirit and you will find the Lord and he will speak to you.

"And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent. You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life." John 5:37-40
