Stay Calm

"It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord."

LAMENTATIONS 3:26

It is in the boring - mundane - quiet times the Lord enjoys his time with you. When it is quiet - with you having very few distractions - the Lord's voice is often heard. It is in these quiet - slow times - the revelation of the spirit inside is revealed.  

It is here in this time - the Lord does his work in you. Struggle not with letting go of the human traits that have defined you. Make way with an open heart to listen - follow - and obey the voice of God and let his will be done in you. 

“But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” Matthew 6:6 

“I lie awake thinking of you, meditating on you through the night. Because you are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings. I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely.” Psalm 63:6-8 

“Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!”  1 Chronicles 16:11 

“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
