The Good Fruit

"But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."

GALATIANS 5:22-23

You cannot produce good fruit separate from the Lord. It is him in you that is good. Every thought and constraint that separates you from the Lord must be brought to him. The Lord did no thing separate than what his father asked of him. We are to do the same with Jesus. The Holy Spirit of God desires to live in you and will live in you - feeding you wisdom, understanding, love, grace, hope and patience from heaven. It is in this unification of your mind, body and soul rightly fixated on Christ Jesus that the Lord's will can be done in you. 

To accept Jesus is not simply accepting him and moving along. It is to contort your life to the ways of Christ. It is to pray and to seek to meditate with your Lord as often as possible. Jesus is first. He is sovereign over all aspects of life. Come to him. Stay with him and enjoy the comforts of spending quality time with your Lord and Savior. You will be equipped with all that you need through Christ. 

“He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness.” Romans 2:6-8

“Stay away from all believers who live idle lives...” 2 Thessalonians 3:6
