The Walk With Jesus
Share
"But some of you do not believe me.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning which ones didn’t believe, and he knew who would betray him.) Then he said, “That is why I said that people can’t come to me unless the Father gives them to me.” At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him."
JOHN 6:64-66
When becoming related to Christ - you will often find yourself without any companions. You can seem strange to many of those around you - like a foreigner in another land - though you look not like a foreigner - you are most certainly from another kingdom. The kingdom of heaven is God's. Only through Jesus can one be rightly related to the most high.
A servant of the most high does not always know that they are alone, because he is with you - in you - speaking to you. New followers of Christ can become disheartened as people that were once friends move out of our lives and those we once saw as a beacon of light begin to fade. A servant of Jesus will become so used to this that they will cease to recognize when they have been abandoned.
Jesus is the light that never dulls. It is his light you seek - his faith - his hope. It only happens through being with him. Jesus lives. He lives in the present moment - his voice - always loving - always guiding - always teaching and always leading you down the path he has chosen in advance for you to walk.
“Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom. If it were, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is not of this world.” John 18:36
“But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.” Philippians 3:20
“So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 5:20-21
“For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:9
