“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.”

EPHESIANS 2:8-9

When Jesus ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God to plead on our behalf, he sent his Holy Spirit to his people. While Jesus walked, the power was in him alone. After his triumph on the cross and rising from death - the spirit can be in all those who choose Jesus and his way. You see, his spirit is here now. He is coming soon but is most certainly already here.

Our task is to let Christ live through us - we don't have to wait for his physical return to do what is necessary - The Holy Spirit has already been given. We are asked to live free and be free in Jesus - to speak boldly in Christ our Lord - to give hope to the poor - to feed the hungry - to heal the sick. The life that lives through us is to be the life of Christ Jesus our Lord.

Christ died for his glory - such that he may live through all who believe he is the risen son of God. In this truth lives the spirit of Christ Jesus. Purified and Glorified by God - Jesus lives.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

“Jesus came and told his disciples, I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

“Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38

I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.” Revelation 1:8
