To Be A Family

Romans 8:29 — Summary
God chose His people to become like Jesus so that Christ would be the first among many brothers and sisters in God’s family.

God’s perfect plan came to fulfillment at the cross. Through Jesus, we were made whole and invited into His family. As children and heirs of the Most High, we are called to submit our will to Him and accept His life, truth, and purpose. Through faith and obedience, we share in the glory of the Lord.

Jesus went to the cross so we could become His family. He is our brother who gave His life in love so that we could trust Him fully, receive eternal life, and live as sons and daughters of God. His sacrifice opened the way for us to belong—to be united in Him and with one another.

Fixing our eyes on Jesus gives us strength to endure and follow His example of humility and obedience. Through Him, barriers are broken, peace is made, and we are adopted into God’s family. This was God’s desire from the beginning, and it brings Him great joy.
