With Christ

"Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am."

JOHN 12:26

A new life in Christ is exactly that. There is not an old life to cling to any longer - only a new commitment. Your spirit is new - new eyes - new ears - you have the Lord within. In patience - faith - trust - obedience - all things within you are truly made new. 

In this new - there is you adjusting to a new life. Be free in Jesus so that you are guided perfectly in each moment. Jesus is purposeful in all things. His purpose for you is to be his perfect vessel such that his spirit and life will be seen in you. 

We are not called to create tasks based on a doctrine of Christian life, but rather develop an attitude of following Christ regardless of how you feel. The frame of mind and disposition of an individual that serves Jesus is reconciled to the will of King Jesus being completed in them. The attitude and focus is set on the face and life of Jesus - not the circumstance in which you are in. 

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 

“For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.” Romans 6:4 

“...throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.” Ephesians 4:22-24 

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
