You Are Set Free

You Are Set Free

"So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves."

GALATIANS 5:16

When you pursue God with your full energy of devotion - the Lord reveals himself in you - to you. This is one of the absolute truths of Jesus. When you give your life to him - he will truly live inside of you in the Holy Spirit as you are walking in devotion to him. He will begin to fill you with his thoughts so that you will know which actions to take.

God loves us so much - he allowed us salvation, intercession and eternity. He gave us his son - so that we too may believe and have eternal life. The spirit of God and the Way of Jesus are perfection - they intersect in perfect union - this perfection is available in you - for you - when you consciously choose to pursue Jesus Christ.

We are born of this earth as sinners. In Christ we are called to sin no more. You are not born to sin - but born to seek God. God gave us Jesus so that we would be set free of sin - and he did this for us on the cross of victory. The Holy Spirit of Jesus is our advocate and mighty counselor because it opens up the power of Christ in you by faith and obedience. He is the power - we are called to have faith in him that he can and will do what he says he will. In this understanding - through the Holy Spirit - you have the ability to say no to sin and yes to Jesus.

To remain in sin - to remain out of control - to remain worldly is not to have the Holy Spirit by personal choice. God is supernatural - you are not. You must give the effort of faith and obedience and he will fill you with his Spirit of peace - truth - patience - love - wisdom - hope - and grace. He will set you free from the prison of your mind and he will speak to you through the Holy Spirit that dwells in you. You must come unto him because he is there waiting to guide you and walk with you - he will never forsake you and he will always love you.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." 2 Corinthians 5:17

"Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. You know that he appeared to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him." 1 John 3:4-6

"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
