The 2nd Exodus
In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the Mediterranean. He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth. Isaiah 11:11 - 11:12
The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals. There will be a highway for the remnant of his people that is left from Assyria, as there was for Israel when they came up from Egypt. Isaiah 11:15 - 11:16
The Lord will have compassion on Jacob; once again he will choose Israel and will settle them in their own land. Isaiah 14:1
Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” Revelation 5:1-5
The 2nd Exodus is when the saints of the Lord Jesus, through faith and obedience to The Holy Spirit, will be gathered again to take possession of the land promised long ago.
This will occur, before and during a great time of trouble for the world. The current inhabitants of the land of the promise are not those faithful and obedient to the Lord Jesus Christ. Though people live in part of an area I have promised, this was not done by my hand, says the Lord. These are not my faithful servants. The people of the land will be uprooted by me, says the Sovereign Lord of all creation.
The faithful servants that gather and are called together by God in this time will be the remnant of the tribes of Israel (Jacob). The first fruits for the Lord, we will enter the land singing. Our weapon will be praise to Jesus and joy in the Lord, our redeemer. At the time of exodus, the Lord will once again show many wonders and great signs that have not been seen before. The Lord is doing a new thing with his faithful servants.
